Senior Minister (SM) Goh inspected the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city in Tianjin on 17 April 2011 during his working visit to Tianjin municipality from 16 – 17 Apr 2011.   During the visit to the Eco-city, SM toured the 1st public housing project in the Eco-city, Keppel Corporation’s Seasons Park project show flats and the rehabilitation works of the Hangu wastewater pond. SM also officiated at the groundbreaking of Keppel Corporation’s commercial centre project – Season’s City - and witnessed the signing of several Co-operation Agreements by Singaporean and international investors in the Eco-city, with total investments amounting to RMB 500 million.

SM Goh also met Tianjin Party Secretary Zhang Gaoli, Mayor Huang Xingguo, Tianjin Deputy Party Secretary He Lifeng and other key Tianjin officials during his visit to Tianjin municipality.
