Update on Work Progress
Since the groundbreaking ceremony on 28 September 2008, the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city has made good progress as it embarked on the implementation phase.

Reclamation works at the 4 square kilometre-large start-up area are completed and have commenced in the rest of the Eco-city site.  Planning works are progressing steadily.  The urban design and control plans for the start-up area have been largely completed. The planning for the transportation network, infrastructure, services provision and the environmental rehabilitation of the site is also making good progress.   In the meantime, the Joint Venture company undertaking the development of the Tianjin Eco-city is also in discussions with various potential investors and developers in the Eco-city.

Construction works in the start-up area should commence following the onset of spring.  Please stay tuned for more updates.
