SENIOR MINISTER OF STATE FOR NATIONAL DEVELOPMENT AND EDUCATION GRACE FU VISITS BEIJING AND TIANJIN, CHINA FROM 13 TO 16 OCTOBER 2009 1 Ms Grace Fu Hai Yien, Senior Minister of State for National Development and Education, accompanied by officials from the Ministry of National Development, will be making a working visit to the People's Republic of China (PRC) from 13 to 16 October 2008. 2 During the visit, SMS Fu will be meeting senior officials from the PRC Ministry of Housing and Urban-Rural Development and the Tianjin Municipal Government to discuss the progress of the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city.  In Tianjin, SMS Fu will officiate the groundbreaking ceremony of the first public housing development project in the Eco-city, and view the construction and environmental rehabilitation works on the Eco-city site.
