The Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city Featured at the World Cities Summit

The Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city was featured at the inaugural World Cities Summit (WCS), which was held from 24-26 June 2008. The WCS was held in conjunction with the Singapore International Water Week at the Suntec Exhibition and Convention Centre.

Ms Grace Fu, Senior Minister of State for National Development and Education, gave a presentation on the Sino-Singapore Tianjin Eco-city at a Plenary Session at the East Asian Summit Conference on Liveable Cities, which was held at the same time. SMS Fu's presentation touched on the objectives and vision of the Eco-city, and introduced its Key Performance Indicators, Master Plan and key project milestones.

The Eco-city was also showcased at the exhibition at Suntec City held in conjunction with the World Cities Summit, with an exhibit outlining the vision and genesis of the Eco-city, as well as its Master Plan and key features.
